Watt-Flex® Cartridge Heaters are designed as direct replacements for Leybold Diffusion Pump Heaters.
The split sheath heater is designed for easy insertion into the heater tube at the base of the Leybold pump. The heater can be provided with or without the mounting bracket used to secure the heater in place.
When energized, the heater legs expand bi-laterally, making contact with the bore to maximize heat transfer to the heater tube and into the diffusion oil. When de-energized, the cartridge heater contracts for easy removal from the bore, eliminating drill outs, damage to the bore, and costly down-time.
Watt-Flex Cartridge heaters can be specially manufactured in 200 or 270 volt. To order a replacement heater, select the Dalton Watt-Flex heater below that matches your Leybold Vacuum Diffusion Pump.
