Accutherm Container Heating

If the container holder is not of the design to allow the installation of heaters or if additional heat is required to supplement container holder heating system elements can be installed in the container.

AccuTherm offers different designs for this application. Each design depends upon customer requirements and/or current method being used. The single ⅝” diameter unit with terminals at both ends is the most economical and efficient method of providing heat.

FEATURES

  1. Seamless Incoloy® 840 sheathed elements incorporating same features as container holder elements
  2. Stainless steel mounting bracket welded to element
  3. Alloy studs and nuts. Welded to stainless steel cold pins on elements.
  4. High temperature mica or ceramic insulators.

The cluster type tubular insert heater is designed to replace the large diameter cartridge heaters now being used. Cartridge heaters above 1″ in diameter are not compacted. Because of this they do not provide adequate life in these applications as temperatures are too high.

The tubular heater is compacted and by incorporating these in groups of 3 or 4 they can be designed to fit holes previously restricted to cartridge heaters.

FEATURES

  1. Seamless Incoloy® 840 sheathed elements incorporating same features as container holder elements.
  2. Stainless steel reflectors to reflect heat into container and reducing inter-radiation between elements.
  3. Alloy studs and nuts. Welded to stainless steel cold pins on elements.
  4. High temperature mica or ceramic insulators.

The cluster type units can be provided with terminals at both ends or one end only. These units have the same features as the container holder heating system elements.
