Burkert Type 2672

The control valve type 2672/8630 consists of a 2-way butterfly valve type 2672 and an electro-pneumatic position controller including superimposed process controller type 8630 (TopControl Continuous) with analog feedback card. The butterfly valve housing is made of cast iron and the flap is made of stainless steel. The connection between the flap and the actuator follows a standard interface (flange connection). The rotary movement in the actuator is achieved by a linear piston with a steep-threaded spindle. The rotary actuator moves the butterfly valve by max. 90°. The compact electro-pneumatically actuated control valve can be used for a wide range of applications and media. NOTE: The use of these control valves is only useful in a process control loop; The valve is not suitable for direct position control.
