With the help of the free software tool “Communicator”, various EDIP components allow free programming via a graphical programming environment. Programming can be data flow-oriented in a function block diagram or control flow-oriented as a flowchart. In this context, it is possible to create logical links, to offset analog values against one another, or to program time-dependent sequences or step chains. The user interface is easy to understand and intuitive to operate. The usability of these functions is limited in the software and also in the output modules. They can be activated with the help of a code.
