PFS: Plastic Fiber Sensor

The Plastic Fiber Sensor answers the need for a more affordable sensor suitable for most applications. The PFS will easily replace most general-purpose plastic fiberoptic amplifiers without sacrificing key features. This sensor still features our signature fast setup method with a one-button setup to teach the sensor and set the threshold. It has a dual 4-digit display, one in green and one in red, to display the threshold and returned light level. Two buttons for manual threshold adjustment, diffuse or through beam selection, four response times settings, and up to 5000ms of output, and delay are included. The slim line 10mm wide housing with a protective lid will fit in a variety of small spaces.

Multiple Mounting Options:
Either mount directly to your DIN rail system, or use the metal DIN rail clip (provided).

Mounting on a DIN Rail
1.Hook the DIN rail clip on the
bottom of the sensor under the
edge of the DIN rail.
2.Gently push and pivot the sensor
onto the DIN rail, pressing until it
snaps into place.

Installing the Fibers
1. Open the dust cover.
2. Move the fiber clamp forward to unlock it.
3. Insert the fiber(s) into the fiber port(s) until they stop.
4. Move the fiber clamp backward to secure the fiber(s).
5. Close the dust cover
