Excel Dryer XLERATOR® 94 Replacement HEPA Pre-Filter for the XLERATOR® & XLERATOReco® HEPA Filtration System
While Excel Dryer Part# 94 is not a HEPA filter, this HEPA Pre-Filter (Part #94) is a corrosion resistance, reusable, washable stainless steel mesh screen that traps large particles & protects the HEPA Filter media. The Pre-Filter is designed with an easy detaching clip system, allowing it to be removed without the use of tools for rinsing & cleaning of debris and then reattached with a simple snap fit. These spring clips come as an integral part of the replacement HEPA Filter (Part #40520) or with the HEPA Filter Retro Kit (Part #40525) or factory installed if added to any XLERATOR or XLERATOReco at the time of purchase. In other words, while the available HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) Filter system does an amazing job of keeping germs and harmful particles out of the air we breathe, sometimes larger particles can cause small tears in the material in the HEPA filter itself, wearing them out more quickly and reducing their filtering benefits. When this happens, you can feel the effects both in your pocketbook and your level of health. But that’s why this Pre-Filter is such an important part of the complete filtration system. Using this sturdy, removable, reusable, washable Pre-Filter will prevent these problems.
