Excel Automation LLC is an Authorized Distributor for Werma Signaling Devices. Werma manufactures both wired and wireless signaling product. Werma offers their wireless products in several forms. The most interesting wireless system from is their Werma WIN (Wireless Information Network) System. It is a stand-alone system, making installation easy.
The Werma WIN System is an optimum method not only for wirelessly signaling from one location to another within the industrial facility, but also for data automatic documentation of those critical events for review and improvement. The Werma WIN software that documents the events is provided at no additional charge.
The Werma WIN System is offered in three different functionalities, Werma WIN Transmitter, Werma WIN Performance, and the Werma WIN Control, to suit the customer application needs.
The Werma WIN Transmitter is the basic system that wirelessly signals from one location to another any intended event. The WIN Transmitter monitors up to 8 different events, and transmits them to the WIN Receiver. The software documents each event for further analysis.
The Werma WIN Performance includes the ability to transmit up to 6 different evens, plus a count pulse, and transmit them to the WIN Receiver. The software documents each event for further analysis.
The Werma WIN Control includes the ability to control either the WIN Transmitter stack light or any external device; e.g. machine stop or start, and transmit this information to the WIN Receiver. Logic functions can be applied to the decision process via the Werma WIN Software. The software documents each event for further analysis.
With the Werma WIN System, up to 4 signal elements can be used per WIN Transmitter. Up to 50 Werma WIN transmitters can be used per WIN Receiver. Range of the Werma WIN Transmitter to the Werma WIN Receiver is 300 meters, un-obstructed line of sight. Each Werma WIN Transmitter functions as a mesh-network, so each Werma WIN Transmitter can act as a Repeater for another Werma WIN Transmitter, enabling sensing ranges to be extended, respectively. Events can be used to trigger an e-mail message, a text, or a pop-up on a PC.
The Werma WIN Receiver is available with either a USB output, to function solely with a PC, or an Ethernet output, to utilize a factory Ethernet system. Up to 4 signal elements can be used with the Werma WIN Receiver.
